Throb was formed in 1974 by singer-front man, Dave Marshall and guitarist, Dennis Temple. Both of whom are in the current band line-up. Other members of Throb in the early days included Chris Watcham and Peter North (drums), and Jonny Andrews / Dave Evans (bass). Dave Marshall has been the one constant member through the years of the band's existence.
